TrichoScan® is used to standardize the capture and presentation of hair and scalp characteristics. Thanks to AI-based hair detection, the current generation can often analyze the hair without prior dyeing. This makes the process easier, faster and more convenient.

TrichoScan® is a computer-assisted method for capturing and evaluating hair and scalp images. Images are recorded with a digital microscope camera and then analyzed by software. The software calculates a range of parameters and presents them in a clear, structured format.

From TrichoScan 5.0 onward, hair detection is performed automatically with the help of artificial intelligence. Fine or curved hairs can also be included. In many cases, pre-dyeing the hair is therefore no longer required.

With TrichoScan FAST, both trimming and dyeing the hair can usually be avoided, and results are available immediately after image capture. Some parameters, such as the anagen/telogen ratio, are not available with this workflow.
