Support for studies with TrichoScan

For study projects with TrichoScan, different kinds of support may be useful depending on the starting point, from the initial concept and the selection of suitable endpoints to practical implementation and evaluation.

If external partners are needed for a project, suitable service providers, CROs or institutes can be referred that have experience with study-related workflows and TrichoScan applications.

Study planning

If you are planning a study on hair loss or hair parameters, early alignment is often especially helpful. Important points can already be clarified at this stage, for example:

  • which question can be meaningfully addressed with TrichoScan
  • which endpoints and metrics are suitable
  • which requirements exist for SOPs and reproducibility
  • which hardware, training or evaluation support is needed
  • whether a single site or a multicenter setup is planned

Study execution

Through our many years of work in hair research, we maintain good contacts with partners with whom TrichoScan studies have been carried out successfully. These include in particular experienced CROs and institutes that can support organization, data collection and study workflows.

Depending on the project, support can take different forms, for example:

  • practical implementation of the measurement workflow in daily study work
  • training and standardization of image capture
  • coordination of evaluation and documentation
  • integration into existing study structures
  • support for special organizational requirements

Who this page is for

  • sponsors and companies with a planned study project
  • CROs needing TrichoScan-related support
  • institutes and research groups in the field of hair research
  • study sites that want to capture standardized hair parameters

What happens next

The easiest way is a short structured inquiry with the most important framework data: organization, country, study question, planned timeline, target group, desired endpoints and required services.

On this basis, it is usually possible to assess quickly whether and to what extent support or referral to suitable partners makes sense.
